The TS-262, a fast and vast private cloud storage solution, is ideal for home users to maximize their digital lifestyle. This Intel Dual-Core 2.5GbE Multimedia NAS offers a range of multimedia and file management applications, allowing users to access their files, data, and multimedia from all their connected devices, including phones, computers, and smart TVs.

With a 2.5GbE port and HDMI 2.0 port as standard features, the TS-262 enables lag-free multimedia streaming throughout the home and direct viewing on the TV. The NAS can be geared up to fit future needs, supporting two M.2 PCIe slots for Qtier auto-tiering storage technology and easily expandable to accommodate growing data needs.

The TS-262 also supports Edge TPU, enabling users to organize their photos based on facial and object recognition using the QuMagie app. By immediately multiplying network speed by 2.5 times while utilizing existing CAT5e cables, the TS-262 offers enhanced performance.

Equipped with 4K media playback and real-time transcoding capabilities, the TS-262 allows users to directly watch videos using the HDMI 2.0 (4K @60Hz) output. Additionally, the optional Edge TPU feature provides supercharged AI-powered image recognition capabilities.

To further boost NAS performance, users can install M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe SSDs, sold separately. The TS-262 also supports the installation of a PCIe Gen3 x2 card, allowing users to expand the core functionality, including the addition of a Multi-Gig 10GbE/5GbE network card, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) card, or a Wi-Fi 6 network card.

Flexibility in storage capacity is achieved by connecting USB expansion enclosures, as per the compatibility list. The TS-262 enables users to upgrade their home network to 2.5GbE, taking advantage of the emerging Wi-Fi 6 and 5G standards for networking.

Powered by an Intel® Celeron® N4505 dual-core processor (burst up to 2.9 GHz) and supporting SATA 6 Gb/s drives, the TS-262 delivers responsive performance, power, and adaptability. The Intel® AES-NI encryption engine enhances encryption performance while maintaining the security of the NAS data.

Users can flexibly install NVMe SSDs in the M.2 PCIe slots for cache acceleration, maximizing network and storage performance for data-intensive applications, or enable Qtier for auto-tiered storage for higher storage efficiency.

The TS-262 offers a SAN/NAS Storage System with maximum storage efficiency and convenience, allowing users to connect an expansion unit and expand up to 2 drives for additional on-the-go storage. The RAID levels (0, 1, JBOD) provide data reliability, fault tolerance, and improved overall performance.

Equipped with DDR4 SDRAM memory technology, the TS-262 ensures fast, easy, and convenient access and retrieval of data and information. The tower form factor makes it ideal for running internal applications, serving public websites, or storing sensitive customer data with maximum productivity.

The TS-262 runs on the QTS 5.0.1 OS, providing users with all the creative and productive tools they need, while the 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet technology increases efficiency with quicker transfer and sharing of information.
